Not hard to find peace at sea when Mother Nature is this perfect.. for this long. I just had the best 6,000miles of downwind sailing.

2/2 My forearms are pumped and ready for the climbing gym after wrestling with the tiller in the waves. 🌊 Should have breeze till about 50 miles out and then a motor in to the finish. ✌🏽

1/2 We are currently 239 miles from San Diego. We've done 200 miles in the past 10 hours yewww averaging 22.22knots. πŸ’¨ That's fast. It's very, very wet with a big swell and lots of spray.

4/4 As I attempted to re-home the little fellow he leapt from instrument panel and was caught by a gust of wind and sent overboard. he has a long swim ahead of him. That's all from the smooth sea of the pacific. Sara 🌊

3/4 We've been treated with a smattering of sea life - dolphins leaping in formation as the sunset yesterday. Today we saw a sperm whale with his distinct head. 🐬🐳 Though he didn't stick around for photos. I found a very lost gecko whom I made a home for in a little box. 🦎

2/4 As we approach the coast of California, the wind will build and turn with us and should be a thunderous finish in to San Diego around Sunday.
