I think it’s why women in politics have a hard time getting traction. We are never part of the regular story. When we make the news it’s because we’ve done something freakishly evil or because no one‘s noticed that women have been writing books, solving equations, etc for eons

Coming from a farm state, I follow USDA crop reports. Because of heavy floods, wheat, corn, soybeans are all at 1/3 their usual planting-sprouting for this time year. , other economists, will we be seeing huge spikes in food prices? Do Biden, Sanders, et al care?

75 years ago my husband S. Courtenay Wright was on the HMS Apollo preparing to head to Omaha. He was 19 when he volunteered. The idea that you weaseled out of high duty for any reason was repugnant to him. He did not risk his life so we could incarcerate children on our borders
