Intrusive sexual images in OCD Pure - a comedy drama - highly recommended - I acted as a consultant half way through the filming - done sensitively

It's a shame that even health professionals are not up to speed with these lesser known themes surrounding OCD, causing unnecessary safeguarding issues. Misconceptions and not following Nice Guidelines is still happening!

"It's shows like these that prompt bigger discussions around lesser known issues, without tokenizing a condition for the sake of moving a story on." 💪

Watch ‘Pure’ and discover why thinking OCD is just about being organised and clean is so wrong. There are a million, billion different types of OCD. It’s unique to each individual. ‘Pure’ is about having some very graphic intrusive thoughts about sex.

If you need a little bit of joy to make it through the day, this is the video to watch. Baby gets first hearing aids, giggles uncontrollably at sound of big sister's voice.

I was at this too and I’ve been in some kind of strange awe ever since. It’s brilliantly done, correct about OCD and sensitive. It’s got the potential to be a world changer. Ocd community, time to get very, very excited! 😍

2/2 Beyond the scope of this consultation, what I believe is there is significant failure on NHS services (especially IAPT) to understand all of the recommendations and to understand OCD (particularly risk associated to OCD) and most damning to fully implement the recommendations

Disappointed in the laughing that they use a disabled loo if there is a queue like it doesn’t matter. Disabilities often have bowel & bladder issues- one of the hardest sides of a spinal cord injury to cope with - often above inability to walk.

Disgusted at for laughing & saying they use the disabled toilets instead of queuing. This only encourages ignorance. Anyone can become disabled, you’ll soon it’s far from funny. I really hope ITV respond to this & take action. Ableism at its worst.
