Weirdly one of the foundations that funds my charity was set up by the guy that managed Britney Spears. So in a very roundabout way the royalties from Toxic help pay my salary.

It was written by Cathy Dennis about some minor z-list ex-boyfriend she had. Can't remember who.

Disagreement is fine but I'm not letting that tweet lie because it's obviously and probably deliberately misleading; as has been pointed out to you by others. I can't make you remove it but I'll certainly take it personally if you won't.

This is so weirdly petty and unlike you.

I don't think there can be much doubt it's misleading and I don't think it looks very good for you or HEPI to do that but I can't stop you.

Say I'm a parent living in Kent and I think comps are preferable to selection. I cannot act as a parent in line with my views as a policymakers because there aren't any comps. If I create comps I can send my kids there!

My personal behaviour aligns with my political views so not really fair to imply otherwise. My point in that tweet was that good policymakers should be able to look at the interests of the whole system regardless of what they do for their kids.

Not really on to take that tweet out of context like this. It implies I'm actually sending my kids to a grammar which I'm not. It was a general point about responsibilities.

Why would relative value change? If Ronaldo (or anyone else) is better value than Kroos now he still would be if dividends were doubled tomorrow.

On current yield he'll earn more in 1 year than Kroos in 6. So even if Ronaldo played 1 more year and Kroos 4 more then Ronaldo would still be better value!

Age is (obviously) not the only variable in valuation. You also have to look a dividend yield (for one). Ronaldo has previously earned £2.98 in dividends (100% of is current price) and Kroos has earned 43p (10%).
