The religious right = the white patriarchy. They also need to be smashed. Trump & the religious right weaponize religious liberty into oppression. Homeless providers that exclude trans ppl through this accommodation are transphobic human-rights violators

It’s important that folks remember that NYers experiencing homelessness are in the encampment and are uniquely vulnerable to violence.

Public Advocate is on the right side of history. Budget are moral documents & any Councilmember voting on this immoral budget will lose their seat or their machine-picked successor will lose their seat as well. All power & funding to the people, not police ✊🏽

I can’t imagine how anyone—after we’ve all witnessed rampant, violent behavior from the NYPD in response to anti-racist protests, plus amidst the underfunding of social services—could vote Yes on a city budget that fails to meaningfully decrease the NYPD budget by >$1Billion.

The future of politics is to stand by the oppressed & unsung heroes of our neighborhoods. That means creating a space for PEOPLE NOT DONORS to have access to their elected officials. When you stand by your community, you always win. Pa’lante✊🏽 9/9

We honored the South Bronx’s ancestors & movement leaders whose struggles informed our platform. We centered their revolutionary legacy in all we did & exposed volunteers to the South Bronx’s rightful place as a global policy, social & cultural thought leader. 7/9
