I knew that COBOL course I took at university fifty years ago would eventually pay off. I would need a refresher course, though, as we used to use IBM punch cards way back then. PS A little bit of levity can sometimes help during crises such as this.

Right. Bear in mind, though, that Saanich only has 1.5 bylaw enforcement officers, and the police tend not to get involved in this sort of thing.

Learned tonight that most of the N95 masks produced globally are manufactured from a paper pulp made exclusively at the Harmac mill in Nanaimo from western red cedar. Shout out to this versatile tree of the Pacific NW coast. Truly the tree of life.
