The staff at the Crisis Nursery loves to help the kiddos make valentines for their moms and grandmas. It is always so sweet to see the pride the children take in their creations and the joyful tears from Mom when she sees a Valentine made just for her. How cute is this???

Joe,let me assure you, the one-on-one time spent with our kids DOES make a difference in their lives!! We hear from our children years later about how they felt special and loved at the Nursery. That is because of volunteers like SLUH students who take time to play and read!!

When you convince yourself that you can't––you won't. Progress begins with the way you think, the plan of action you put into place and your level of consistency. Make the decision that you can––and you will. What matters is that you see yourself succeeding.
