Two people are now confirmed dead and 40 have been detained in . “We can already say that the torture being suffered by those detained is savage, much worse than for those detained in 2017. We know of two dead, but probably more have been killed.”

Just in case you missed last week, my latest post deeply explores what I feel will be a major competitive advantage in the coming year: effortless online inventory for real-world retailers:

Oh look Rob, you tweeted a funny joke. You don’t have many of those these days. Maybe, what, once a month? Too bad you ruined this one with a YET ANOTHER TYPO.

When eating Indian food, it is literally impossible for me to be served papadums with starting to sing “papadum preach” in my head, over and over.

Cool. I'll keep an eye on them and see how the project develops. Not quite ready to make another switch so soon :)

I switched from Chrome over to Firefox because I value my privacy (and my laptop battery life!). I'm happy with the switch so far, except that it sure doesn't load websites as fast as Chrome does. I'm still willing to select privacy over speed, though.

Btw, I don’t know why I’m being such a weenie about this subject. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I agree with the original sentiment that people buy need to stop buying shit on credit.

Four quotes inspiring me for 2019: 1) “Faster! Faster! Until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death!” 2) “Curb your ambition. Live happily ever after.” 3) ”Let me not die while I am still alive.” 4) “One-trick ponies make the best glue.”

Of course, unserviceable debt is bad, and getting into debt for frivolous purchases is obviously stupid. I just wanted to share the perspective that debt itself isn’t inherently bad.

I don’t agree. This perspective isn’t nuanced enough. Debt isn’t inherently bad. It’s Wil’s personal preference to not want it, but someone else might be thrilled at the fact that if they invest proceeds from a mortgage, the mortgage interest is tax deductible, for example.

Me to, yet debt can be strategic, obviously. I understand what you’re getting at in this thread but just to add to it: done right, debt can offer awesome leverage, especially when borrowing rates are so historically low.
