But you may be wondering, what exactly are EDCs? They are a type of Emerging Contaminant: compounds that come from household cleaners, laundry detergents, & health/hygiene products, & can affect hormone levels in fish/aquatic life. Check back next week for more info!

Participants will complete the online Endocrine Disrupting Compounds Footprint Calculator for their household & then take a water sample in a pre-determined assigned location in the Basin in September. Kits will be mailed to you & will include a prepaid return label.
