Vince and Janet Marino are having a giant succulent sale at their home on April 6th and April 7th from 8am to 2pm. All proceeds will benefit the Food Bank! The address is 735 Cabrillo Place in Morro Bay.

Milo, Locke, Logan and Orion were so inspired after hearing a Food Bank presentation and a television program regarding poverty among America's youth, that they held a yard sale and raised $225.50 for the Food Bank.

We received a $100,000 grant from as part of its ongoing efforts to combat greenhouse gas emissions. This grant will allow us to purchase an additional refrigerated box truck that will be used to increase the volume of rescues we collect from local grocery stores.

We have received $3,000 from Central Coast Funds for Children, a small and local organization, to support our Children's Farmers Markets in 2018 - a program which ensures that children and families in low income neighborhoods have access to fresh fruits and vegetables.

This check from represents $15,800 from the Klaproad Foundation to supply our partner agencies with no cook bags for the homeless. It also counted in a generous $2,000 from the Janssen Youth Foundation to procure produce for Children’s Farmers Markets. Thank you!!

Tom Lorish, Account Executive , delivered a $5,000 check that will support emerging youth leaders in our county who raise livestock to be auctioned at the Mid-State Fair. Food Bank recipients will receive valuable distributions of protein once the meat is processed.

The Food Bank was chosen to receive the Community Outreach Offering from the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of SLO. Led by Rev. Rod Richards pictured at left, the generous congregation supported the Food Bank with a January donation of over $2,000.
