Super stoked today we got our OFFICIAL brand ambassador t-shirts! We had a meaningful conversation about what it means to be an ambassador and of course we danced a little too.

We’ve been learning 2 letter sounds to help w/ our reading. Today we went on a sound hunt w/ our cross age buddies looking in their classroom & their books for sounds we have learned. Everyone was engaged & eager to share words they found.

So impressed by my students today. They asked Terry Dixon some tough and deep questions. Terry is a former resident of Africville and grandfather to one of my students. He visited us today and discussed life in Africville for him and his family. Very powerful!

We went on our and enjoyed the fresh air in our neighbourhood! We got to visit the Halifax explosion memorial and have a little play time. No snow on ground but still wonderful to be out breathing in the crisp air.
