We did some inspired artwork on Friday! They had the choice of a portrait or cubism style - and they could work with whatever medium they wanted (pastels, watercolour, markers etc). These kids are so creative and talented!

Used these with grade 4’s today to work on geometry! The straws represent  « les arrêtes » (edges) of 3D shapes while the connectors are the « sommets » (points, corners). They loved it! Really made it clear which was which.

This may look like chaos to some BUT we were experimenting how we would move to different types of music. We listened to , some 50’s music, African drumming, some lyrical piano music and more. Art is not just about drawing and painting reminded me today
