We dedicate this poem INVICTUS to everyone who requires inspiration and strength. This remained a favourite of Madiba during his 27 year of incarceration. May you be The Captain of your Soul. The Master of your Fate.❤

My competition ? ME. I have learnt from my mistakes. I have to play my own game. Focus on what's important. Be more determind. Have a positive WINNING mental attitude. Practice harder. Falling down is nothing. Staying down is a problem. Attack the obstacles.

Look debate & objections is fine but to disrupt and create mayhem by shouting is not the solution. Use the parliamentary process to voice dissatisfaction. Observe decorum in the house. South Africans dont mind robust debate. We need it, however, these outbursts harm SA.

I shared some of the most wonderful moments of my career with the incomparable Joseph Shabalala or “Mshengu” as we all affectionately called him. He was a mentor and above all else taught me the art of humility with your success. A kinder, more generous man you couldn’t find 1/2

I was never more prouder when my son spoke out of the white privileged that he was afforded. He was savaged but he stood his ground.

What type of man am I if I expect the world to progress yet I remain the same? It is I who must change in order to witness real progress.

Sometimes the World Champion becomes arrogant & lazy and believes his challenger is a chump who he will easily knock out. He doesn't factor the hunger of his opponent and his will to win. The challenger trains hard. He imagines victory. He steps forward & beats a legend.
