La Mirada would have won it all. Jared Jones would have gone the distance and hit a walk-off to end it.

Will they stipulate a grade? In a pass or fail you can just designate an A for the passing grade?

If schools simply go to pass/fail without stipulating a "grade" average, can't imagine CIF-SS deeming them ineligible because there is no "proof" of a 2.0 GPA.

This is interesting for returning athletes on how schools evaluate a passing grade in the event some schools move to Pass/Fail grades for the rest of the spring semester. Students sill must maintain a 2.0 GPA to be eligible in the fall. This could get tricky.

The CIF-SS says they don't see hardship waivers for additional semesters of eligibility for spring athletes because though students are technically out of school, they're still receiving educational services through distance learning.

CIF-SS Rob Wigod issued a long statement, this is a key part in terms of players being able to play should schools allow it and transfer rules for next spring season
