The election judge at Our Redeemer Lutheran near Northpark tells me they’ve had to turn away 75 percent of people who’ve come through. People assuming they can vote anywhere in the county (which is the case during early voting). Described herself as “livid.”

Dallas County Elections Admin says the 4:30 update came in at 42,241 day one early voters. That’s already three times the day one turnout of the 2010 and 2014 midterms. There were 58,775 on first day of ’16 presidential election—within reach.
