November is the rainy season and all about tree planting! One of our youth environmental clubs near Rugezi Marsh has acquired a field near their school and are planting fruit trees, so they can enjoy the healthy fruit and boost their nutrition as well as care for the environment.

We never miss a chance to engage with children.... we were in Ruhango checking out another colony of fruit bats and it was great to find out that these children remembered so much from a previous educational campaign we held at their school. Here they are flying like bats!!

A member of our youth environmental clubs was delighted to find a bird has nested in his tree that he planted from RWCA and has carefully cared for since. It is so wonderful to see results and to see our youth be so inspired and excited by nature!
