For decades, researchers have claimed that after bats evolved echolocation, moths evolved ears to hear and evade them. This is a textbook story—and it’s wrong. A new study shows that in almost every case, moth ears came BEFORE bat sonar.

Got my 1st son 2nd year of my PhD, stayed home with him 1y and finished PhD in 3.5 years. 2nd son was born during post-doc. When the boys were 1&3 y we moved country for 2 years for my 2nd post-doc. My husband stayed home, I worked in 2 uni's, 1-2 nights/wk not home.
