For the first time in 909 years, today is a palindrome.
It reads the same backwards & forwards.
02-02-2020.
909 years ago it was 11-11-1111.

I would like to add to this tweet that Today's Palindrome is RARE because it reads the same around the World, different Countries use different dating systems, ie: The U.S.A. use MM/DD/YY, most Countries use DD/MM/YY.

Well I use yy/mm/dd or sometimes yyyy/mm/dd when naming computer files because then they organise themselves properly. So today is actually 20200202. Still a palindrome! OMG - it IS the end of the world!
Bad news for Liverpool.

Read my response above☝️. It has everything to do with DD/MM/YY & MM/DD/YY
Different countries use different dating ie; the US.
Today's date is the same in every Country.

Only in certain countries, if you change it to the American date system then no it isn't a Palindrome.

That is not a palindrome in countries that don't use the same dating format that we do, ie: the U.S.
