Friday 2am we go (AGAIN)... 50km with a 100lbs tree... but leaving one island and TOUCHING the other. We swim through the night and day and this time EVERYTHING has to be perfectly executed! In a massive team effort me & team are calling the “aggregation of strength”

We’re going again... has been an incredible journey... it HAS to end island to island (touching the beach)! So me, are giving it ONE more go “Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more" (Shakespeare from Henry V)...

Recovery Update :-) Face still hurts. Eyes now functioning. Shoulders feel good (surprisingly strong on today’s swim). Packing away 10,000+ calories a day mainly for refeeding and recovering

A post that’s nothing to do with but about something FAR more important “When you go home, tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow we gave our today”. -

Thank you SO much for ALL the messages! This post is bitter sweet... whilst I was able to 50km, towing a 100lbs tree, for 19 hours... the ever changing current made it impossible to enter the shore of Martinique

Final meeting to plot times, tides and routes! Conditions making it a little trickier but could NOT wish for a better support team

Good & bad news.. Good news? We found a tree :-) Bad news? It cracked under the pressure of the waves on a test swim (and they were only 4ft waves)... 2 days till 40km and no tree (eek)
