Another example....is the fact that Francis Collins was one of the fathers of the human genome sequencing project irreconcilable with him leading NIH? No, he was highly qualified for the role and was operating in the public interest.

Thanks for the question. Dr. Brashears is a highly accomplished scientist with an impeccable record. By government rules, she is required to divest of commercial interests of any potential conflict of interest before assuming such a role. I do not see it as irreconcilable.
