I took time away from the book I started writing a year ago when I moved to Tennessee and wrote a novella. Now I'm back on the novel and it's going great. Sometimes you just have to put a WIP down and look at it later with a fresh perspective.

I'm a double space Times 12 pt. font kinda guy. And then I blow it up to 125%. It's easier on the eyes.

My WIP is 180 pages at 52K words! You must be using a different size font and single spacing.

I loved it when I read it in the 90s. I was deep into King at the time. My opinion would probably be different had I read it now for the first time. I didn't care for the Auctioneer when I read it a few years ago. I'm pretty sure King stole the idea from an old short story.

An older Zebra horror title from 1977, before they were categorizing their books as horror fiction.

Typed THE END today on the first draft of FOLLOW THE MAGGOT WAGON, clocking in at 22K words. No, it's not a weird western. I like the title and figure that if I manage to sell it, the cover art will make it very clear it's not a splattery western.

Currently reading. I think I saw a movie of this years ago, but don't remember much about it. Good so far!

Robert Essig's new anthology is a fifteen-course meal of horror, treating your palate to subtle and atmospheric tales all the way down to the grisly, blood-drenched extremes. Shooting for a Thanksgiving release!

Can't remember the name, but it's in Madisonville on the 411. It's always been closed when I've driven by, but not today.

Found these at a thrift store today. I've not had this kind of haul from a thrift store in years!
