Sources confirms that Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen has acted during games, texting to staffers, including to remove Jacob deGrom during that Arizona start earlier this year in which he left early. It's happened more than once.

Understood. I worked at Post for 16 years. I know people conflate "supermarket tabloid" and "tabloid," but the way Oliver used it is perfectly in bounds. And, having worked for Col Allan, I can say it's really legit (and believable).

"Tabloid" is a format. The Post and Daily News are tabloids; the NYT and WaPo are "broadsheets." Because of National Enquirer, tabloid has dirty connotation, but it's certainly not here.

That's unfair. She didn't go to college to "become" a bartender. Few people immediately get perfect job after college. I waited on tables and worked in bookstores before I got my big -- unexpected -- break. That's normal.

A significant paper scrubbing it's website is a perfectly legit story -- especially for a media reporter. Nothing "stalky" about it.

Question: Was BU 's "dream college" -- or just the best school she and her family could afford? I honestly don't know the answer, but that is often the choice many middle-class famies make.

AOC unintentionally explaining why Bernie's plan is so ridiculous. It's not about getting a college education through sensible community colleges or state schools, but about the government paying for the hopes and dreams of everyone at the cost of others.

Users are in the (lowish) thousands, and it costs the libraries a lot. This is really too bad. I wish there were a way for Kanopy and the libraries to negotiate better terms. Kanopy has full Criterion collection, all Frederick Wiseman documentaries, good kid stuff.

I say this to my Republican friends: is it worth it? To the men, I ask is this the world you want your daughters, sisters, wives to live in? Because your acceptance makes it more possible. To the women, do you want to normalize this treatment of women with silence? Is it worth it?

US v. Davis brings another Gorsuch-Kavanaugh split. Gorsuch joined by liberals finds statute unconstitutionally vague. Kavanaugh dissents, joined by other conservatives.

Seeing lots of "Sara Lee" suggestions. Given the majority white filling, I'm not sure it's a significant enough change.

How exactly are historians rewriting history? Please name the older texts that you think set down a more correct view, and explain how historians today have rewritten that. And, please, be specific. Otherwise, you'll just sound like an idiot.
