If you really want to know how much of a vile human being Cyma Zarghami was/is, then you need to read/share what the creator of the Nickelodeon Pilot that never got off the ground (because of her) Constant Payne has to say on how she ran things... it is NOT pretty.

She helped NEITHER of those. In fact she hurt them and their chances of survival on Nick. Korra was booted to burn-off on and Nicktoons. While Miraculous got the boot off the network completely not even a year after its debut.

The Dan Schneider thing i found interesting, because I keep hearing conflicting reports on what happened. Did he have an ego, did he actually touch kids, what?

I thought Phineas and Ferb was proposed to them all the way back in '92? Either way though, this is... very surprising to hear. I thought for sure this was just another example of people overreacting but nope, they were right all along.

Yeah no, of all things people could react to or not, Cyma wasnt one of them, she was as bad as advertised

do you think cyma's bullshit might've been part of the reason why stuff like MLaaTR and ChalkZone never got proper send-offs and why stuff like Mighty B and Catscratch never got the chances they deserved?

They turned down Ed Edd N Eddy because they wanted creative control

Actually Dan said the reason he went to CN is because he faxed the idea to both Nick and CN at the same time CN got back to him first saying they wanted it.

Good piece, but I'm not sure I'd say Invader Aim was 'nurtured'. The time slots constantly slid without warning, they barely hit the third season and then kinda withered away. I was in college at the time reading JV's books - and marketing for the show was minimal.

What you described was basically crippling the show, bad slots, bad airtimes, budget cuts, cutting it for a really stupid reason in the end. Only now are Zim and its fans getting any kind of peace with the movie.

Oh definitely a reason, that's why only now are some shows getting back on track, decades later, like Hey Arnold
