If more people (especially elected officials) took the time to listen, read and learn we’d all be in a better place.

That would be dope. Maybe do several 'conference within the conference' style events. Main kubecon is big umbrella, but then introvert is smaller talks, more fire-sidey. Could also have SME focused sub-cons. Only negative is harder logistics. I'd volunteer to help on this.

Maybe either more space or more frequency are the solutions? If you limit attendance you exclude a lot of interested people, and thats not a good thing.

Remote honestly. As for office layouts a team cove is the best I’ve seen. Everyone gets a private office, and even with 2 or 3 people sharing an office. The cove is key, allows for breakouts f2f.

With over and the cat mostly out of the bag, I'll just shout it out now... Starting at the end of the year, I'll be joining (via ) as a Senior Kubernetes Architect! Very excited for the next adventure with old and new friends!

We’ve not seen an answer to that (yet) though honestly I think we were on the right track with HKS.

This ends up being somewhat similar to the way the Linux distro market went, the question now becomes who has the best business strategy around Kubernetes? Similar to what Red Hat accomplished with RHEL.

There is no compression algorithm for experience. Now that there is a disproportionate consolidation of experienced Kubernauts (product, dev, field, biz) in 3-4 places things will not only be harder for niche competitors, it will also speed up the end game.

Consider - Cloud Native is speeding up immensely and the value of these assets (people & tech) 5 years from now will be 3-5x higher at least.
