Isn’t that the point though? He has to relax immigration visa rules in an attempt to keep those EU workers employed in the UK in the event of a No Deal Brexit, Johnson just trying to put a positive spin on it. Thought you would have seen through the spin?

Let’s read between the lines. No deal Brexit = end to freedom of movement = brightest and best EU workers no longer entitled to work in UK = need to remove visa cap so we can keep them employed on 1st November. Spun by to sound positive rather than necessary

What worried me was not the performance but the commentary on the radio. “If they carry on playing like this they’ll struggle to stay up”, “they can’t keep trying to play out from the back”. Play the way that won promotion and enjoy the ride. Enjoyment > PL Survival for fans

Is there any elevation data available for the various ride distances be good to know before deciding which one to enter.

Its like VoteLeave all over again, make lots of undeliverable promises, which can’t be measured until after the fact, make it emotional, and convince the electorate, the influence of Dominic Cummings. Predict General Election very soon.

Can’t disagree but highlights lack of real plans. Since move to The Emirates most fun to watch were in early days when we had negative net spends. I can live with stars like Ozil and Alexis, but Xhaka, Kola signings leave a lot to be desired and should be youth players promoted.

And that Gazidis was forcing the club to buy to appease fans and doing it over Wengers head in last few years. Heard the story of how we got Ozil? IG was there to sign Di Maria but he wasn’t available, was then told Ozil was available so did the deal.

Some of our best teams since move to Emirates were made when we had negative net transfer spends. In the last three/four seasons we have consistently spent more than has come in and we get worse each year. No surprise Gazidis jumped when he lost his AW shaped cover.

I think the problem over last few years has been this constant pressure to spend. I want the club to get back to basics promote from youth ranks and add the bits of quality later, continuing the path of buying that clearly hasn’t worked seems madness.

I would also like to see unallocated seating blocks in North Bank and Clock End behind the goals, your ticket gives entry but not a seat. Then as we did in the 80’s you would have to get in ground earlier to get your spot with the singers and then make your own entertainment.

I would guess the empty seats are either held by touts or season ticket holders who can’t make it (choose not to). If the game doesn’t sellout then they can’t use Ticket Exchange. So as a red member I have to choose between Clock End Upper or waiting for tickets.

So remind us...democracy is allowing the Conservative Party to vote again for a new leader having forced the last elected leader to stand down by unsupportive ToryMPs. But democracy isn’t asking the people again whether they are still confident in their choice made 3 years ago?

Obviously if we can manage that and seize power from the old guard we can get PR through. Because watching the EU Election results it struck me as a good way to move forward to ensure every vote counts.

I think the former (not contesting) would prove both parties are willing to work to a positive solutions. We are tired of left/right antagonistic debate. We want reason and solutions not political ambition driving our MPs

I am a LD Member so agree totally. But I think we are in a space where some tough decisions have to be made. either needs to be a tactical agreement between LD and Greens to not split vote at a future GE, or a merger with The Greens before a GE. I prefer the former.

Scarily waiting for Mark Francois to throw his hat in the me ring. Feels like only one of two men BP voters would back. This would also create issue for Brexiteers needing to vote for someone with a foreign sounding surname.

You know what this vote does show proportional representation electoral system works. If this was a GE under PR, could see a coalition of Green/LibDem/SNP/PC unseat the old guard and any extremists. Rather than having to strategically enter MPs to avoid splitting Remain vote.

Fair analysis. Remain won the night. However, the real hope is that in a General election remain parties can coordinate as Brexiteers split between Tories and BP. Need to keep a clear parliamentary majority for remainers.
