You were a free range chicken before the farmer decided to increase his profits and cage you. You may be upset at the loss of freedom and decrease in living standards, but you were always his property. You thought you were free because you never tried to escape the farm.

Since these tech companies all began through tax money and they collude with the government regularly, someone should argue they objectively are *not* private!

In light of my maiden speech. Should the Australian public be able to vote on who comes to this country? This is a fundamental question that has been decided by bureaucrats for too long.

At what point are conservative Catholics willing to seriously examine the highly predictable consequences of a "celibate" priesthoodβ€”and of institutions staffed by a priestly class in general or, more specifically, the people attracted to this profession.

Apparently, the Churchβ€”an institution of immense wealth, influence, and historyβ€”is an innocent victim of "liberalism" outside itself; indeed, it bears no responsibility for the promotion and creation of said "liberalism" that has infected it.

What I hear from the "trad" Right, instead, is how there is "corruption" in the Catholic Church (as if there are merely a few bad apples) or how this is all a product of the "modernism" or "liberalism" brought on by Vatican II.

If an Episcopalian bishop said something about accepting gays in the church, these same conservatives would jump at the opportunity to smugly ridicule this supposedly less "trad" and hardcore institution.

If revelations of rampant child abuse and coverups occurred in a Mosque, there would be endless criticism coming from the Right about the β€œtrue nature of Muslims” and how abuse was "endemic" to Islam, etc. Everything that occurred in Pennsylvania reminds me of Rotherham...

I'm not a Catholic, and I don't like piling on an institution that is being attacked (justifiably in this case). But we must be brutally honest.

This is why conservatives have lost. They've legitimised the left's moral declaratives instead of transvaluating them. Political denouncement of racism & fascism isn't moral but a soft-imperialist, anti-white power play subverted by moral language used to crush the right.

It's almost as if Europeans should embrace "continentalism" of open borders within Europe and securely closed borders preventing Europe from being inundated by hundreds of millions of non-Europeans. But "continentalism" would be racist, so it's either nationalism or globalism.
