Huh, that's weird. I must have accidentally deleted it while I was doing the art, since the page template starts with the number on it already. Fixed now.

Yep, agreed. I am not remotely on his level, art or writing. And most people would agree that I only get by on my writing anyway, which they sure didn't teach me at Pratt.

Also, I just read those tweets, and he's seriously overestimating my importance to the world at large. I draw a stupid D&D webcomic that just barely pays my bills and hardly anyone reads. Clowes is about 4700% better than I am. Listen to him.

True. I haven't been in the job market since 2004, so take even that with a huge grain of salt.

Only to go into a regular career like graphic design or art direction. Not if you want to make comics/art. It's a nice grounding in general principles of color and composition, but nothing you couldn't pick up online these days (which wasn't true in the 90's).

OK. That's why it's there. I don't control the shipping rates/options at Ookoodook or the postal service.

There will be an author introduction, where I'll talk a little. I don't usually do the detailed commentary on original stuff, only on compilations of the original strip. Oh, but there will be a Foreword by Thog, I forgot to mention that.

No, as I said on the main page announcement, I will not be there. You'll be picking the book up from the people at Ookoodook.

It includes it. It's that story, the Therkla story, and then 3 new stories.

Less directly, but yes. It tells your store that you intend to buy it from them and that tells them how many to order. Certainly, if you intend to buy it from the LGS anyway, it helps more to pre-order with them than hope they have enough later.
