We had a PUI try to self extubate. I had to deescalate a frantic near-argument between bedside rn and rn leadership about rushing in. To the primary nurse’s credit, he remained cool as a cucumber and kept safely donning his PAPR despite being yelled to go in.

UI certainly contributes, but even with optimal design I would guess the amount of info reuired needed would be burdensome.
