the irony is, anita probably hates MK no matter what. "I'm not a fan of video games... I would love to play video games, but I don't want to go around shooting people and ripping off their heads, and, it's just gross."

i disagree, brexit isn't a rightwing issue, yet ukip does lean towards the right. Having a single issue party for brexit makes perfect sense

I see what you're doing there, but I do think context matters. If you analyze e.g. Count Dankua's "Gas the jews" without recognizing the context of training a cute dog to react to nazi phrases, you'd get an interpretation which represent what is being said

that being said I think everyone sees that it's provocation and a reaction to Jess Philips man-hating. They're just pretending to interpret it in the least charitable way to have an argument against him. As I said, it's not about if it's immoral or fine, it's strategically stupid

Well, I guess there's many interpretations, the least charitable would be that the person saying "I wouldn't even rape you" would rape the other person, if the other person was more attractive/less annoying etc. It's not a threat, yet still disturbing when interpreted that way

yeah I agree, but it would be smart to do that post-election

I think he just had a different mindset when it came to context than he has today. That was before the Count Dankula lawsuit. Also perhaps he thought it was just going to be some social justice activists being upset for a week and then that's it.

well i don't care about that, I've made it pretty clear when I took over. And afaik the previous owner wasn't that edgy. I think some insults were thrown at KWintie but that's about it.

I'm not so sure about that. People, especially journos, are quick to bring up sins from the past these days.

not even considering if it's immoral or perfectly fine: The tweet is being used as ammunition against him, he probably could've seen that coming back then. Of course he didn't think he'd run as MEP, it was still not a wise move.

About the Sargon - Jess Philips thing: He can't back down, because if he admits the "even" in his tweet changes the context (and context matters) and was a mistake, journos would bring it up at every opportunity. So when he says he'd still send it today, idk if he really means it
