My wonderful cousin was one of nearly 1,200 Americans who died yesterday with covid. He was released from the hospital earlier this week and said he was feeling fine. This disease is a horror.

Sorry to hear that, Todd. Hope he recovers quickly and the rest of your family doesn’t get it.

It’s so reassuring to hear President Biden introduce his national security team. Serious, patriotic people are back. Biden is a real leader.

Democrats have flipped District Attorney seats in Cobb, Gwinnett, Douglas, Richmond, and Chatham. And, on Tuesday, December 1st, my friend will do the same when she becomes the next District Attorney of Athens.

That’s what I tell the people who contact me. Do they believe it? Sadly, I doubt it.

I tell the Covid deniers who send me emails and texts that the governor and the state have hundreds of lawyers who vet public health orders. Are they convinced? No. 😖

Not surprising to anyone who has been paying attention to the importance of leadership during a pandemic 🤯 👇🏽

I taught “Heart of Darkness” in my AP classes and my daughter teaches it now. I recommend a companion novel, Chinua Achebe’s “Things Fall Apart,” to see the effects of colonization.

Tony Blinken is one of the finest public servants I’ve ever known. Brilliant, thoughtful, honest and experienced-really a splendid choice.

If you had done your job, America's governors wouldn't have been forced to fend for themselves to find tests in the middle of a pandemic, as we successfully did in Maryland. Stop golfing and concede.

Despicable. No teen, however difficult, should be subjected to this kind of treatment. Is this a private or state funded facility?

I am grateful for folks who have the courage to stand against racism. I am grateful for the free press. I am grateful for honesty, integrity and morality. This year was full of lessons on things for which I am grateful.

Today, November 22, marks the 57th anniversary of the assassination of Pres. John F. Kennedy. It was the end of innocence for me, as I had been inspired by the words of his inaugural speech, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”
