WATCH: Chuck Rosenberg: "This makes me very, very angry." Sec. Pompeo is carrying out “an act of abject cowardice” without a spine with a “complete failure of leadership” to stand up and defend his diplomats against attacks from the US president.

As CEO of the Gap, Art Peck made 1,000 times than his employees, pocketing $20 million a year. At the same time, the company’s stock lost more than half of its value under his tenure. Yet he still got a 33% raise. America has socialism for CEOs, capitalism for everyone else.

I encourage everyone to read Bill Barr’s viciously partisan speech to . Its hackery and intellectual dishonesty is an utter embarrassment to the DOJ, , and to all of us (yes, me, too) who try to be intellectually honest about textualism & original public meaning.

If I were Gordon Sondland, preparing for Wednesday’s Congressional hearing, I’d be getting the best legal advice from the wisest attorneys I could find. Because the verdicts yesterday from Roger Stone’s trial are relevant to Sondland’s predicament.

Whether or not a single Republican mind is changed over the course of this impeachment, it’s incredibly important and necessary that the American people are hearing from nonpartisan public servants about how their President has corrupted their government for his own selfish ends.

We can make changes in Utah to reduce deaths and injuries from gun violence. I have opened a background check bill that will run in the 2020 session. Raise your voice. Contact your legislator. Support background checks. Support red flag bills. Support safe storage bills.

Interesting essay on the original meaning of “High Crimes & Misdemeanors.” It was a term of art referring to abuse of power, engaging in self-dealing, misuse of funds, & corruption. It did not refer to crimes as such.

I’m sorry if some people think these hearings are boring. As American citizens we have a solemn obligation to pay attention to this process no matter what side you’re on. You’re not being asked to storm the beaches at Normandy after all. Suck it up and watch.
