Your community's access to resources depends on an accurate census count. Not completing the census is leaving money on the table. It takes 10 minutes and can make a huge difference:

Prayers go out today to the people of Beirut who have already been through so much the past few years. The images that have come out have been horrifying. My condolences to the families that have lost loved ones.

Masks should be free & widely available in every corner of our country.  and I have each introduced bills to provide Americans with free masks. Today, we sent a letter to leadership urging them to pass our legislation so we can flatten this curve.

I agree. It's outrageous. introduced and passed a bill out of the House to correct this issue. Sadly, even a bill that received 87 yes votes from Republicans can't get anywhere on Mitch McConnell's desk.

Republicans like to say "government agencies don't work." When Republicans are put in charge, sure... The problems at USPS were manufactured by policy changes forced on them. The GOP appears comfortable bailing out big business but can't be bothered to save the Post Office.

For every $1 million we spend on defense, we create about 7 jobs.  If we spent that on health care, we’d create double the jobs.
If we spent it on education, it would be triple Anyone who says defense spending is the best way to create more jobs isn’t reading the numbers.

This is what happens to women when we say something, speak up, speak truth to power. This is what happens when our *tone* doesn’t sit right with a corrupt and dishonest Attorney General I won’t be bullied. I will not be silent in the face of injustice. See you on Monday.
