BLM was pushed under the rug, until enough people stood up and made noise. And still not enough noise. People only make noise when there is unjust treatment. Consider that maybe you are shutting your ears to stories that are valid.

Jehovah’s Witnesses MUST compensate the 1800+ victims who suffered or face consequences. My motion today calls on the Attorney-General, the Hon , to make good on her promise to take action against organisations that refuse to join National Redress Scheme.

You know you've been raised in a doomsday cult when even numbers are triggering.

I’m not entirely comfortable with protests. But I believe every form of activism has its use. I’m glad that the protest helped this person.

If this was an adult doing this to a kid on the street, he’d get charged and possibly arrested. But in the name of religion, humans permit this.

Maybe if we aptly renamed “Religious Freedom” to “Religious Bondage” it would give a better picture of what is going on here... “He chooses to go to church because he has religious bondage”...”She baptised her infant because she has religious bondage “

Its an insult to every victim AND to every organisation which did join the redress scheme in an effort to do the right thing if there arent strong sanctions. Please have teeth and use them Australia.

can you please advice what sanctions specifically will be put in place for the Jehovah’s Witnesses who have publicly, prematurely and arrogantly advised they will not be joining the Redress Scheme?
