Those before? Then how come the palestinians are incapable of re-shaping their identity to help them be "less Arab," and "more palestinian." Compared to the Jewish people who revived their native language and re-wired their identity to remove being trapped in the diaspora.

It is both, the governments of member states of the Arab League and the citizens of those member states identifies with an Arabised identity. It is like a social status to be as "Arab as possible," anything "not remotely Arab" is unacceptable in the region.
