It’s clear that May is going to call another vote when there’s no time for any other option except no deal. So-a big moment for Labour leadership. They need to work with others to secure Article 50 extension and back referendum. If not their choice will be May’s deal or no deal

To be clear, this means that Tusk, Juncker and top EU officials knew the vote was off when Michael Gove went on BBC Today prog at 8.10am on Monday and insisted it was "100%" on

Smith Comm was the chance. Labour promised and then reneged. A pity. Chance to do right thing and handed over nothing. Very different to Brown promises. So Labour will not be believed because of their recent track record.

It’s seems so long ago but this government were found in contempt of parliament on Tuesday. The first time ever. Not a single resignation.

Disgraceful that describes the politicians who brought the ECJ case as ‘British’ and doesn’t mention the UK Govt opposition for months to this case brought from the Scotland’s legal system. Economical with the truth as ever

Smith 2 as close to federalism as possible. As long as WM agrees that Scots can keep more money proflduced there instead of paying for Trident. Never gonna happen. Had chance and blew it

No matter how bad Brexit is. Ending right to work in Europe. Poverty. Preference to N.I to stay in Customs Union. Rennie will still say it is better than indy. Tipping point reached as chaos becomes manic.

I disagree Christine. At some point LibDems will surely say progressive & socially responsible policies trump the starvation approach from DWP to many of your constituents. When 1m pensioners in Europe are asked to go back to UK if earn less than 35k wages/yr you might understand

Even on local political issues the campaign from Tories is a picture of Ruth and saying indy is bad. Clue; the local person who cares most should be elected regardless of party and national matters like Brexit, Yemeni famine and wars or whatever are not part of local politics.

Like having an elephant let alone a cuckoo in the nest. Norway very clear and that was public. In private who would want an abusive in law to hang around.

Did she miss the bit where Norway said they don't want us in the EEA? It was only yesterday Brexit: 'Norway plus' a plausible Plan B, says Amber Rudd - BBC News
