Good news! Two Way, injured in a fire earlier this week, is feeling much better. She was released from the hospital today & will now be hanging out with her dad at his 💈 until they recover from the fire. She’s gonna have the tightest lookin fur on the block! 😹

Update on North 20th Street: Primary fire dwelling vacant. Two cats from the neighboring home got out with family & are ok (pictured below in a photo from fam’s phone. Cats are currently hiding in the family car). They will be staying with relatives. Food & supplies provided.

Final update on Nth 11th Street: 6 cats evaluated. Sheltering in place. All appear okay. One dog and one puppy headed to stay with family until the building is cleared. Food and supplies provided. No pets in the primary apartment. No further service needed.

Earlier this evening we responded to the 4800 block of North Camac Street with to assist with two dogs & two birds displaced by a fire. All pets appeared ok and went with family & friends. No services were needed.

Last week: 10 responses in Philly & Delco. Emergency assistance for 9 families & 16 pets displaced, injured and/or affected by residential disasters; S&R for 6 pets missing in dwellings, emergency shelter for 2 pets & food & supplies to the families of 5 pets who lost everything!
