This past weekend we provided assistance to 96 people in nine counties who were impacted by the storm and tornado. We are still meeting with folks to assess needs and offer assistance when possible. Thanks to our volunteers who have been working around the clock!

We assisted 2 adults following a house fire in Mercer County on the 100th block of Grange Road in New Wilmington,PA yesterday afternoon. We were able to provide comfort kits, blankets and resources for immediate expenses.

The shelter at the East End Community Center in Uniontown (Fayette county) will close at noon today. Red Cross volunteers will be out in that community - plus several others in the area - assessing damage and providing assistance when possible.

The American Red Cross is opening a shelter at the East End Community Center (150 Cool Spring Street in Uniontown) for anyone who has been displaced by the strong storm that swept through the area.

We are assisting 3 adults in Erie (Erie County) who were displaced. The single family unit on the 3400 block of W. 12th Street was condemned earlier this evening for risk of collapse. We provided comfort kits and resources for food, clothing and lodging.

We assisted 3 families in Westmoreland Couny after they were displaced by a fire earlier today. The multi unit building was on Main St in Adamsburg. We provided comfort kits and resources for food, clothing and lodging for 7 adults and 5 children

We are assisting 2 Adults and 1 child in McKees Rocks who had to evacuate their single family home Thurs evening. The house on Coles Row was deemed unsafe after a wall fell onto the back of it. We provided comfort kits and resources for food, clothing and lodging.
