All clear has been issued in Bay Point and Pittsburg from the gas line fire. The evacuation order is no longer in effect. Feel free to resume normal activities.

Con Fire announced at 2:30 pm today that the evacuation order for the Bay Point natural gas incident has been lifted. Residents are free to return to their homes as they wish. All danger has passed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This morning, Red Cross volunteers and community partners served breakfast to approximately 460 people. at the two shelters at Calvary Temple Church and Los Medanos College for residents evacuated due to a fire threatening a Chevron gas pipeline in Bay Point, CA.

The Red Cross opened up evacuation centers and sheriff's deputies knocked on doors to evacuate 4,000 from Bay Point because of a fire burning at a Chevron pipeline.

Calvary Temple Church is not closing. It was converted to a Shelter a number of hours ago. In fact we are gearing up for breakfast. Only the BART station evacuation center is closing.

Calvary Temple Church in Concord is serving as an evacuation center for residents who have been told to leave their homes because of the threat of a pipeline explosion. They have 164 people here. The church has ordered breakfasts at Dennys for a 6am pick up.
