Woj dispels the notion that KD and his camp have had a break down in trust with Golden State. Says they’ve been communicating.

Also, one of the defining moments of the Celtics season was when Kemba outdueled Kyrie down the strech to bring the Hornets back from like 57 points down in the 4th quarter.

The evolution of the names Kendrick, Allen/Allan, and Ray have come a long way over the past decade for the Celtics.

We can scratch "stealth." Boston and Dallas are at the front of the line that will be trying to lure Kemba Walker away from Charlotte, league sources say

Two NBA sources confirm report that Celtics are seriously interested in . I doubt the Hornets put this thing to bed pre-emptively when free-agency opens June 30. Plenty of suitors, and I assume Kemba will listen to all the pitches.

I’m not hating on Kemba. I would just like to have a starting backcourt that wasn’t a defensive liability. I like Brogdon/Smarf a lot

Yes and we saw the drawback to relying on your PG for your top production last year. At least try to steal from MIL.

With reports that the Celtics are interested in Kemba Walker, the only way they can sign him for max money ($32,700,000 in year one) is to clear the books of almost all of their FAs. They could keep a cap hold for one RFA out of Daniel Theis or Brad Wanamaker on the books.

Processing the Kemba rumor does get perplexing. He’d be passing up 221M in charlotte to go to a team without its own direct path to contention. From C’s standpoint it’d destroy flexibility for 4 years. I get they want to find the right player for the $ this summer. Is it him?

Kemba is an All NBA caliber talent, but max money for a small 30 year old PG doesn't seem like the wise play. If folks were worried about the vets and the kids on different tracks last year, spending money like this would make it doubly odd. Nevermind a roster hole in the pivot
