The video was stopped way to early. He’s the one that ended up with a couple black eyes!!Funny thing Gary Carter and I were close friends. He also was close friends with Niedenfuer. Tom came over and apologized the next day. We shook hands and we 3 had Dinner that evening.

I don’t either. But, if I’m managing I at least want that option. It wasn’t something that I did. Never liked burning 3 pitchers in one inning.

My question is, What was wrong with the game to start with? I believe in change. I am not stuck in the past. Their have been so many parts of the game that have been changed unneccesarily. Can’t block plate, Can’t break up double plays.. Come on man, that’s REAL BASEBALL!!!!!

I hate that it has come to this. Matchups are one of the most critical parts of the game. Why don’t the powers that be leave the game alone? Just play the game and let players play, Pitchers pitch and Managers manage!!!

That is correct. I played the whole year with a torn rotator cuff. And platooned at first with Daryl Evans. Had 9 shots of cortisone, but I played everytime Sparky put me in the line up.. I was a terrible platoon player anyway!!
