When I talk to tech people or business people they (rightfully) as me how this is better enough than centralization that people would bother with actually switching over. This was kind of an exploration of that premise.

Totally! I should elaborate on that more in the post. My goal with this was to have an answer to tech people that have asked me that question when I talk about P2P. If I end up working on this stuff more, open standards are going to be a must.

Yeah, loopback would be enough, but you need that fingerprint sent over somehow which I think is unique per PeerConnection
