genuinely depressing watching a robot tell you it is going to die and then do a dance

It’s VERY IMPORTANT that we start calling the Year 2038 bug, where 32-bit Unix time overflows, The Epochalypse. Plz spread.

Instead of asking, β€œAre you sure? Try asking, β€œHow sure are you?” β€œAre you sure” is a yes or no question. It demands unreasonable certainty. β€œHow sure are you?” allows for shades of gray. It says uncertainty is okay. How often in a day do you casually ask, β€œYou sure?”

Hell yeah, games moving to a streaming service so I own even fewer games giving me less control over how I engage with them and forcing further platformization of the form? All by a company which can't keep any of its services open after a five year boredom switch is flipped?

New version of has been released with a rewritten UI and some important security fixes. You can now dock devtools! We have *almost* solved the freezing issueπŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ I'm so sorry that's taken so long for us to solve. We should have another patch release soon.

I was thinking about how to approach this. Would passing in a duplex node stream work for you?

what happens if facebook has a massive outage and bad shit is going down in your neighborhood? Facebook won't accept responsibilty for it because reliability isn't a part of their use policy 🀷

Web design trends for 2019: -We have less than 20 years to prevent total climate collapse -Democracy around the world is in decline -Private interests are harvesting/distributing more of our data & are less capable of safekeeping it than ever -No more rounded buttons

That's so awesome!! Lemme know if there's any way I can help. :D right now I'm working on discovery swarm web that should support arbitrary hypercores and have zero knowledge about their contents.

Deplatforming works. That's why they tell us not to do it. Advertiser boycotts are "censorship". That means it's working. Do more of it. Heckling is "uncivilized". Protests are "politically correct". Restaurant service "not the place for politics". It's working. Do more.

Anyone else feel like the inevitable collapse of civilization due to climate change and capitalism is ruining their motivation to go to work, have kids, or plan ahead 30 years? Just me?

This is a fantastic change! It proposes to make stdlib more like any other crate. Which will open up the path to introduce feature flags and custom compilation. For example for WASM or embedded it might make sense to ship a size-optimized stdlib.
