Climate deniers dont believe your 'facts'. But even if we work on the premise that scientists are wrong, and climate skeptics are right, they still have little argument to remain supportive of unsustainable, more expensive, and highly subsidized energy.

Okay lets say the scientists are wrong. Whats the connection with socialism? I dont see it. Secondly, whats the problem with renewable/sustainable energy? Even if there is no climate crisis. Are you for unsustainable energy? Are you for imported energy? Serious question.

Yeah that doesnt add up to me. Clearly you cannot yield the same delivery capacity with half as many trucks/vans, unless they hold twice as much cargo.

Why do idiots like to lump climate change with left wing politics? Climate change is not a left/right issue. Its a scientific fact.

Need some kindof visualization like that on the S and X. Oh, and every fucking Tesla in the EU! Wtf. Regulations have neutered AP. It's still just a glorified cruise control system. You US guys have much more functionality

Tesla is vastly undervalued. The only autocompany that can actually produce a decent EV, and growing at unprecedented pace. We can see from Audi and Porsche that they have no idea what they are doing. And all major OEMs agree that electric is the future. How's that?

Better to fund public transport than private EVs. Public transport, particularly electric powered, is vastly more energy efficient, and cost effective. Better for the economy. HK's public transport system should be a model.

I thought the point was to reduce the amount of fuel people burn? The rich dont give a damn about $1k/yr.

They can get a smaller cheaper ICE car. 30MPG isnt good! Its terrible actually. Most people can also drive slower to get better fuel economy. I have an old Chrysler Neon from 2000 that does better than 30mpg, and the car is literally worthless. I cant even give it away.

Your annual registration tax hits low income drivers more than a 50% price hike for most drivers. Those who drive MORE would be able to benefit from fuel savings, meaning even the poor who can afford to commute can afford an EV.

How does your $1K tax hit the rich more than the poor? The poor wont be able to pay for that any more than the rich. If the average driver does 12k miles/yr, averaging 30mpg @ a cost of $4/gallon, that's $1,600/yr. Increase fuel by 50% means the average driver better off by $200.

Doesnt really punish the poor. Public transport is always an option. If its not currently an option, the new tax revenue could fund it.

Disagree entirely. You want people to drive ICE less? Just increase fuel tax. It hits those who drive the most. People who drive 1000 miles a year dont need an EV and dont deserve a $1k/yr tax. You need a policy that encourages those who drive the most to switch.

Most mass produced cars really dont have noticeable panel gaps. That being said, my Golf's front door was about 2mm too close to the front quarter panel it used to rub when opening the door. The paint wore off and the car rusted away! Its gone now.

Took me over 3 hours to do 300km yesterday. I charged up about 240km in ~20 mins. I ended up staying at the charger just over 30min and picked up ~300km range. Pretty sure if I arrived with a lower SoC, would have pickee up more range. European driving is slow.

Supercharging is truly amazing. When driving with a family, actually there is no difference in speed or convenience compared to an ICE. Cant realistically drive much more than 3hrs, and supercharging takes just 20 mins. Huge difference to using Chademo.

Damn the AP chimes are far too loud. As are any warning alerts. Its fine when Im in the car alone blasting music, but they are actually disturbingly loud when the kids are sleeping in the back. Cant wait for Joe mode.
