Your news and election coverage from the days of Doordarshan and The World this week inspired me to be a journalist. Will look forward to this one :)

This was the only choice. The White House took away the “hard pass” not because of any violation, but because Trump doesn’t like him. He may keep doing this, even if he loses in court. But you have to plant a flag, if not for then for other press.

Amazing. There is no interviewer in this interview. There is only an interviewee... Eric Trappier... and two props: a Rafale fighter and the Editor of ANI, . Not ONE SINGLE difficult question from her. The Ministry of Propaganda is alive and well.

For all the criticism of Air India I had the most comfortable flight today from Mumbai to London. Great service, on time, courteous staff. Will always be a preferred airline.

Member of Saudi hit team said on phone call to "tell your boss" that the mission was accomplished after Khashoggi death. Not a smoking gun, but a step closer to linking killing to Saudi crown prince.

In which a lead anchor fakes being embedded in an anti-Naxal CRPF operation, then scores an interview with CM Raman Singh just before the state election. 🤦‍♀️"A parody after a tragedy is not what Indian journalism needs."

The vacuum in Muslim leadership exists because of the systematic prejudice and suspicion against those who speak from the community. And our internalisation of it.

Now the demand to change the name of Muzaffarnagar to Laxmi nagar is blatantly a communal demand. No one changed the name before, it was established in 1633 by Syed Muzaffar Khan, a noble in Shahjahan' time. And the demand is being made Sangeet Som, accused in the riots.
