He said the exact same lines about Gujarat, post the riots. The bigger concern always is the image of the state.

The Tabrez Ansari incident shows that the problem has transmogrified into a sinister form of enforcing the chanting of Hindu slogans by citizens professing other religions.

Why should Rahul or Priyanka talk about Tabrez? Did they speak about their own party ex MP Ehsan Jafri?

Our Sports icons, Bollywood stars who have a massive influence and are most vocal on matters of patriotism stay conveniently silent on the routine lynchings and hate crimes in the country. Not a WORD.

Someone must tell Sarangi and his bosses that Subhash Bose wrote to Tagore in early 1900s asking whether Vande Mataram shuld be adopted as Congress anthem. Tagore wrote back saying it is invocation to godess Durga so it is not fair to impose it on minorities. Bose duly withdrew.

Tabrez Ansari was lynched to death by a mob asking him to chant Jai Shri. This is the mob emoldened by parliamentarians chanting Jai Shree Ram when a Muslim MP takes oath. Guess who mirrors whom ?
