We are still open for applications for NW female riders into the NW Regional Academy. There is no age limit if you’re female so anyone who wants to race should consider applying.

We’re starting our rides again. 🙌🏻 At the moment, due to the restrictions that are in place, we can only offer rides for club members. But don’t worry, if you want to come along, our membership is still at £5*: *British Cycling charge £1 admin fee.

The fact that people wear helmet cameras is a sad indictment of how safe they feel when riding on the road. We'd like to see far greater resources given to road policing, so that people wouldn't need to take matters into their own hands.

And we should ensure that events like these are celebrated and encouraged rather than spending time on something which is unlikely. Supporting those organisers that genuinely support is the way forward imho

Indeed! Another great example where the name and the format is different to the men’s version. Women are not mini-men - they should have their own events and & are great examples.

It would be good to see the Giro Rosa get more coverage, unfortunately its overshadowed by the TdF. The Women's Tour of Britain could also grow. Both of those also show that women's events can be successful on their own terms.

Good points and comments. Support those that support the Sport. Actively seek out products from companies that really get behind women's cycling, it has a direct positive effect. Engage with teams, riders and sponsors and the response you'll get will be a revelation.
