Who we side with will have no bearing on the outcome of an internal Tory vote. The question was irrelevant and overstepped the line. I’m fully aware Hunt would be harder to beat, but I also have a responsibility as a human being to call out shit when I see it.

It’s import to differentiate between siding with someone and speaking up when something is wrong.

Jesus. Delete this tweet, edit it out of your interview. There is a line, and a personal tragedy being used for gotcha journalism purposes well and truly crosses it. From a Corbyn-supporting Labour voter, but most importantly, a human.

I’m actually feeling sorry for Hunt. I do not see the relevance of asking him about a personal tragedy he knew nothing about. Our media is fucking broken.

I actually felt sick speaking up for Jeremy Hunt just then. But the fact I felt the need to do so shows how dire our media is.

I’m no fan of Jeremy Hunt, and I doubt you are. But this is just intrusive and unnecessary and leads me to wonder why ITV thought Mr Peston was worth poaching from the BBC.

I’m sure Mr Johnson would appreciate some supportive comments.

Jeremy Hunt co-authored a book that said, “Our ambition should be to break down the barriers between private & public provision, in effect denationalising health care in Britain.” Boris Johnson said “If people have to pay for NHS services they’ll value them more.” Worrying.

I'm sharing this heartbreaking message I received from Danielle (with her permission) as I want people to know the reality of what's happening to disabled people in Britain today - because of austerity. Please RT widely!

The people outraged by the return of Chris Williamson are the same people that’ll always be outraged by his existence alone.

I fail to believe any human being with any sense whatsoever can look me in the eye and tell me Boris Johnson is capable of being the Prime Minister. He has not got a clue.

In order to reach out across London to all Labour members, I need your help. If you can chip in just a small amount it will go a long way to making sure I can visit for talks as well as backing up our online campaign. Let’s do this 💪

If you refuse to discuss your private life during interviews and you wish to avoid being labelled a lying hypocrite, it’s probably best not to sanction an old photograph for public release in an attempt to make people think everything is wonderful with your private life.
