And the last thing I will say on this is that the original headline used the word "manage" which admittedly can be taken one of two ways. I read that wondering if "manage" had been used on purpose to aggravate = clickbait.

This can feel a bit virtuous, and also (in the case of a couple of BBC stories anyway) incredibly patronising to those of us who earn normal salaries (ie, not £70k) and have no chance of saving for a deposit anytime soon unless they live like a hermit and eat lettuce for 5 years.
