Wow. This hits me. Part of why I do this, I think, is to 'apologize' for being disabled. The other part is probably my upbringing as a Christian. It's 'my' job to be the one to deal with everything, not the other person (even if they're hurting me). 😑

Sometimes the out-of-pocket costs are cheaper, or at least doable. GoodRx is a great app to run potential Rx through, to see if they are affordable or if there are similar options that are.
