Is this the quote you mean? “So that never again would any mainstream party in Canada think it’s a good idea to stoke fears and divisions against Muslims or any other group of Canadians.”

How’s this for crazy? My hotel was struck by lighting, I was on top floor,we were evacuated and the place is on fire(only thing of mine on fire this week.) I can’t get back into my room and may miss my tee time because I am without clubs and clothes.

SAD: Last night, again made unfounded claims about massive voter fraud in NH in 2016. In this letter, I ask him to back up his claims in terms a former casino operator should understand: “There comes a time when you need to lay your cards on the table or fold.”

He sets a tone, and it resonates across the globe. Supporters can try and explain it away with details like these but his tone and rhetoric remain, and I think they’re dangerous. Appreciate the Conversation, just thoroughly disagree.

Biden’s comment was bad - but more of a slip of the tongue rather than a drum he’s been beating over and over. Not an excuse, but it’s different IMO.

Respectfully, not sure what truth you’re referring to. It’s not one I see. IMO the Muslim ban, the comment about immigrants being rapists & killers, and the great people on both sides of the WN demonstration comments are far more damaging than anything you’ve pointed to.

Agreed Tlaib was way out of line with that statement. Not sure I’ve seen MSM consistently mock him for his weight or skin tone, but I could be wrong. Late night hosts certainly have. As for the racist label, his own words and actions have many feeling he is.

What specifically is worse in your opinion that’s been said? Keeping in mind this is far from the worst thing Trump has said.

Perhaps behind the scenes, with power and influence, asserting their will ect. But outwardly treating people this way for all to see, grants permission for others to do the same doesn’t it? Do you have kids, and what do you tell them about name calling and bullying?

What’s your opinion on the way he calls people names and bullies people? Honest question, are you ok with it? And if so, why are you ok with it? He’s the only one who does it this way so stay focuses on him and his behaviour.

Not really a Trudeau vs Trump point I was making. Lots of stuff to criticize with the PM, but this overt bullying and name calling stuff is next level, and it’s becoming normal. That’s what I’m pointing out.

Him calling out someone for their appearance and telling them to go exercise is entirely his fault. Parties aside, it’s wrong and it’s being normalized by the leader of the free world. It’s just not ok.

It’s frightening that is is possible. I hope that technology to identify these fakes develops just as quickly so people can figure out on the spot what’s real and what’s not.
