SNP, Plaid and the Lib Dems have now all said they would back a no-confidence motion should Jeremy Corbyn table one. Labour will now need to explain why they won't. Or at the v least dial down the rhetoric about wanting a general election.

May signals she will attempt to sort out the backstop. Says her deal is s"the best deal that can be negotiated" and she can get a majority for it. Moment of fun when May says MPs need to "take a step back" and ask whether they want to deliver Brexit. The SNP shouts "nooooo"
