Why was candidates being a bit nice a bad thing? Wouldn't it be hypocritical if they talked about "bringing the country together" for 10 mins & then tore chunks out of each other. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've been saying this for ages. The last Tory manifesto said closing the gap between London and the rest of the country is "the biggest prize in Britain today", but they don't even have a way of measuring it
