The parents of RAAM finisher Andy Christensen (Denmark) look on proudly as he interviewed at the finish line in Annapolis. The 45-year-old RAAM rookie finished in 11 days, 19 hours, and 14 minutes, 6th in the Solo Men under 50 category.

The first 4-rider team to finish was Team New Forest, which came in in 6 days, 3 hours, 56 minutes, for a 20.75 mph average. The UK-based team bested all but one of the 8-person teams as well. The team raised funds and awareness for Cancer Research UK:

"You da man!" "No, you da man!" , who last year became the first hand-cyclist to qualify for and complete the Race Across America, went out on course in McHenry, Maryland, last evening to have a quick visit with his friend, current 4th place solo male.

Team TT Endurance—Mark Pattinson and Eneas Freyre—teamed up as a 2-person U50 team with the goal of breaking the average speed record for that category. They hit the goal with an average of 19.79 mph, exceeding the old record of 19.65 mph set in 2014.

RAAM's second place solo man finisher, Ralph "Dizzy" Diseviscourt crossed the line this morning, finishing in 9 days, 12 hours and 33 minutes (13.43 mph avg.), knocking a day and a quarter off his 2016 rookie RAAM finish.
