I listened to “The Killing Machine” ( episode 347) on the plane and have not been able to stop thinking about it for the last week. Possibly my favourite horror short ever - am now seeking out and reading everything else you have written.

I spent the past two days at Symposium of the Greater Weird, in Atlanta. It's absolutely *mind-blowing* to me how much the weird fiction scene has grown and changed since I took a break from it 10 years ago.

If you love something, tell the creator. It can really make a difference. I got an email today that moved me to tears, and in the abyssal void of creation, hearing that you've reached someone is mind-blowing. (Then go and tell everyone else about that thing you love.)

“You're young and healthy; you ought to have lots of children.” Is this at Rosemary? Or Bridget Jones? Read this analysis by our audio producer to identify the source of the horror.

There's always someone arguing about horror. Fine with me. Discussion is good. So is taste. Like what you like! But just remember, you not liking it doesn't change what it is (or isn't): Luckily, there's plenty of room for us all. 🖤

HEY LOOK my name is on the cover! That's a thing! A new thing! That's never happened to me before! I'm in this twice, as it happens, and you get to read the first one in around a week or so: WHY AREN'T MILLENNIALS CONTINUING WORSHIP OF THE ELDER DARK?
